ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, has published the official weather forecast with a last-minute update on the weather in Romania for 2 weeks, bringing to our attention the meteorological developments at the level of the entire country, during this period of time.

ANM explains below, for each region separately, how the weather conditions will change, so that we know, from Banat and up to Moldova, Dobrogea, Crisana, Maramures, or in the mountains, how the weather will change in the base precipitation, or temperatures.

ESTIMATION OF THE EVOLUTION OF THERMAL VALUES AND PRECIPITATION
BETWEEN JUNE 24 – JULY 08, 2024

The estimate is made using the numerical products of the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in Reading, England. The maximum and minimum temperatures are forecast, averaged for each region of the country and locally adapted with statistical models, and the periods with the highest probability of precipitation are indicated.

The average maximum temperatures will be decreasing in the middle of the first week, from 33 degrees to 29...30 degrees, then it will increase, so at the end of June, there will be maximum temperatures, on average 33...34 degrees. A new thermal drop will be felt in the first days of July, of about 4 degrees, then the average maximum will vary in general between 31 and 33 degrees. Average minimum temperatures will range between 16 and 20 degrees, with lower values ​​in the second week.

CRIŞANA

In the first two days of the interval, it will warm up slightly, and the average maximum temperature will approach 32 degrees, then it will drop to 28 degrees, on June 27. At the end of June, a new warming will be felt, so the average maximum temperatures will be around 33 degrees. In the first two days of July, the average maximum temperature will drop by 4...5 degrees, and in the following days it will be between 29 and 32
degrees. Average minimum temperatures will range between 15 and 19 degrees, with lower values ​​in the second week.

TRANSYLVANIA

In the last week of June and the first of July, the average maximum temperature will generally be between 29 and 31 degrees, and the minimum between 13 and 16 degrees. There will be periods of atmospheric instability, almost every day, more intense and more frequent in the first week.

MARAMUREŞ

In the next two weeks, the thermal values ​​will not have significant variations, so the average maximums will generally be between 29 and 31 degrees, and the average minimums between 15 and 17 degrees. There will be periods of atmospheric instability almost every day.

MOLDOVA

In the last week of June the weather will generally be warming, from average maximum temperatures of 28 degrees on the first day to 33 degrees on the last, and average minimum temperatures will rise from 15 to 17 degrees. In the first week of July, the average highs will generally be between 29 and 33 degrees, and the average lows between 16 and 19 degrees. The probability for manifestations of atmospheric instability will be higher on June 24 and after July 1.

DOBROGEA

After a slight drop in temperature, which will occur in the first days of the forecast, the weather trend will be a slight and gradual warming, up to an average thermal maximum of 30...33 degrees, and minimum temperatures of 19...21 degrees . Conditions for atmospheric instability phenomena will be transient in the second week.

MUNTENIA

In the next two weeks, the thermal values ​​will not have significant variations, so the average maximums will generally be between 32 and 35 degrees, and the average minimums between 17 and 19 degrees. There will be periods of atmospheric instability, in limited areas in the first week and possibly locally in some days of the second.

Olten

Until around June 27, the trend of temperature values ​​will be downward, from 35 to 30 degrees average maximum and from 19 to 17 degrees minimum. In the days to come, it will increase again, with approximately 4...5 degrees of average highs and 1...3 degrees of lows. There will be periods of atmospheric instability, with a higher probability until June 28 and after July 1.

IN THE MOUNTAINS

The average maximum temperatures will be between 19 and 23 degrees, and the average minimums will generally be between 11 and 14 degrees. There will be periods of atmospheric instability almost every day.
