Want to know the secret of well-trained police officers?Realism. The closer to reality the training scenarios, the better prepared officers are to handle real-life situations. That's why blackwall system training is so important.Officers face the same risks every day and must be equipped with the training to handle them effectively. Our training equipment, especially our training weapons, are designed to provide realistic training, which helps officers to respond better under pressure.Train as you fight, fight as you train. That's the motto we live by.Keep our officers safe, keep our communities safe.

Excellent news to see innovation being correctly defined, identified, evaluated and progressed . This approach also seems to align the HMICFRS with the NPCC Office of the Chief Scientific Officer definitions on innovation management including their model for coordination, tracking and evaluation. The key to success , and the hardest to achieve ,will be coordination of activity between the OCSO, The College and HMICFRS to provide forces with the right information ( ideally in one place) to improve performance.

Battlefield Pan Kau Rau Shen: CQB or Close Quarter Battle is the GR8 Tactical Baton. This is how Police, Security, Corrections, and also citizens should be able use a short baton like the GR8. All Batons are not made equal. So, choose what works for you. When you are in close quarters with violence, this is where you will NOT see the hidden weapon. Most of them are hidden and it's not seen until its to late. As a teacher and instructor who has been with 4 different departments, certified instructor. and educational teacher for our own Security personnel; I have learned that, what you don't see is what you get!. Do not comprise safety..WE BUILD WARRIORS FOR LIFE!

"Situational Awareness for Survival Class" on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 8–4 PM at the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, 13301 Hanson Blvd NW. Andover, MN 55304.This class will improve safety by ensuring attendees understand how to develop and maintain Situational Awareness while working in high-stress, high-consequence, time-compressed environments. Here is a testimonial from one of our last attendees;"I thought your course was great for new and veteran officers. What I liked the most was how you broke it down into the three components of perception, understanding, and prediction. It's beneficial to have those specific areas to focus on when improving your, or someone else's, situational awareness."-Greg Pilon, Lieutenant Hopkins Police DepartmentClick the link below to register.https://lnkd.in/gSWnnXqJBlue Ethos Specialized Training Situational Awareness Matters! #situationalawareness #policetraining

The reality is that gun violence is epidemic in the United States. Sadly, the epidemic permeates in our schools as well. The American classroom is in fact changing. Fortunately, there are many solutions that help improve security, and this article highlights some of them. What’s missing, however, is communication! In my experience, communication is paramount to succesful security operations, whether they be military or civilian in nature. #nationalsecurity #publicsafety #safetyShout out to Annette Choi, Tal Yellin, Selwyn Rocha, and Curt M. for an incredibly well designed article!
