Ground Venison Soup
This is an easy ground venison soup recipe to make (or a great recipe for canning) utilizing deer meat, vegetables, broth, and seasoning. Partnered with homemade rolls, venison soup is a quick and delicious soup dinner ready in 30-45 minutes.
Wild Game Venison Stew with Vegetables
This vegetable soup works well with any wild game meat including ground deer, ground venison, and ground beef. I haven’t tried ground turkey or pork, but I imagine it would also taste great. (Please let us know in the comments!)
Health Benefits of Venison & Vegetable Soup
There are a number of ingredients in this recipe that can be easily grown yourself. Homegrown vegetables have no added preservatives and pesticides, in addition to a number of health benefits over store bought. Studies have also shown that children who grow up with a garden eat more vegetables, are more physically active, and have improved long-term health. Another study in the UK shows that 1 out of 5 kids eat virtually no fresh fruit or vegetables, and 3 out of 5 kids do not eat leafy vegetables. (Another great reason to start growing your own fruits and veggies!)

Equipment Needed to Make Ground Venison Soup with Vegetables
The best thing about venison vegetable soup is that it is a one-pot meal. I use my favorite dutch oven pot to cook the ground meat, then dump in the broth and vegetables, and simmer with the lid for a bit.
